Fitness:
How long will it take to see a difference?
You should begin to look and feel better between two to six weeks.

Do you have to be fit to have a personal trainer?
No, we help you to get fit!

How often should I exercise?
Depends on how quickly you want to see results.

What do I do if I have an injury?
Depends on the injury.  We can usually adapt exercises to your specific needs

What do I need to wear?
A pair reasonable trainers (barefoot for yoga and pilates), T-shirt, stretchy bottoms and a sports bra
(stops your boobs from bouncing!).

Can I exercise with someone else to reduce the costs?
Yes,
see platinum level prices.

Can I exercise whilst I'm pregnant?
Yes, however you must be used to exercise.  We can adapt exercises for you, however you must have permission from your doctor, and participate at your own risk.

Do you do post natal exercise?
Yes, although most women who have had a baby without complications should be able to return to exercise after approximately six week.  You must have permission from your doctor, and participate at your own risk.

Can my husband/boyfriend/partner exercise with me as well?
Yes they can.

How quickly will I lose weight?
Depends on how good your are!  Sensible weight loss should be around 1kg (2lb) per week.

What happens if I fall off the wagon?
Regular coaching sessions will help you avoid these pitfalls.

What happens if I don't lose weight?
Everybody's age and metabolism is different, you may lose fat rather than weight.  This is why we
measure you before you commence the programme.  We will also look at your food diary to see if
certain foods are inhibiting weight loss.

What is normal weight loss?
Sensible weight loss should be around 1kg (2lb) per week.

What is the difference between fat and weight loss?
Fat loss should show in your clothing size and weight loss on your scales.

Why is the programme for a minimum of six sessions?
Successful life changes need this minimum time period to begin to take effect.

Will I need to do anything else apart from these sessions?
Yes, your success requires a level of personal commitment from you as well.  It is a partnership that aims to help you succeed quickly and efficiently, and we will also set you additional tasks to keep the momentum going.

Can I contact you outside of the coaching sessions to share successes and failures?
Yes, you have unlimited email access to us, and we will respond as quickly as possible.

General:
How do I pay?
By cheque
made payable to Rachel McGuinness, by cash  or bank transfer.

When do I pay?
Unless otherwise stated in your terms and conditions, for:
'pay as you go', at the end of each session
'paid in advance' blocks of sessions, in full before commencing that block
(we reserve the right to ensure funds are cleared, if payment is made by cheque).

What times do you work?
We try to be very flexible in order to fit in with your schedule, however as early morning and evening sessions are the most popular, it will depend on our availability.

What if I am sick or have to cancel a session at short notice?
ALL
cancellations less than 24 hours must be paid for at the full rate
24 - 48  hours will be charged at half rate.
